Why do I need to take the Modere Nutritional Supplements to help me do this program?
We have learned that this specific regime truly works, in conjunction with the Homeopathic Drops and this eating plan. We want as few variables as possible. Hence we recommend what we have proven works. We also want all clients to do this program in the most health promoting way.
This program unlocks stored, hard to shift fat.
We know that when the fat stores are unlocked and start to flood into the blood stream, they carry with them excess hormones, impurities, and toxins that the body has stored away over time. The Modere Live Clean Detox Collection is filled with specific components that scavenge the nasties and send them to the liver, which then needs extra support to process the impurities before sending them for elimination via the kidneys. Within this regime is specific alkalising support for those processes.
We also need to keep nutrient levels fully topped up while embarking on a restricted calorie eating plan. This helps keep energy up, cravings down, and all systems on GO! This is a vital part of your healthy body Reboot.
We have tested this Nutritional regime plus the Homeopathic Drops together with this eating plan, over and over. We know that it truly works.
We would never recommend doing such a program without this powerful and specific nutritional back up.
What’s in the drops?
Our Homeopathic Drops contain Irvingia, Mimulus, Garcinia Cambogia, Guggul Lipid.
LYC, PHYT, FUC, CALC, CARB, NAT PHOS, NAT MUR (30c & 200c).
These ingredients are in a specific proprietary blend.
When should I weigh myself?
Always weigh first thing the morning, after visiting the loo, and before any food or liquid is consumed. Try to do it at the same time each day. Use reliable scales which will measure 100g increments. Always place your scales on a firm level surface.
As you begin Phase 1 “Fat Loading”, weigh and measure to get all your baseline stats. Record them on the tracking sheets. Take your BEFORE PHOTOS too. Wear close fitting clothes in well lit space, and in a way you can easily duplicate once completing FFR. You will be so glad you did.
On the first morning of Phase 2 “Release”, weigh again and record.
Tell your Mentor how much you gained during your Phase 1 Fat Loading. This will help them know what results to expect during your first week.Continue to weigh each morning throughout Phase 2 Release and Phase 3 Reset. We look to the scales for feedback. What we do not want to see is the scales going up. If the scales do go up, then together with your mentor, revisit what you did yesterday. Together you may be able to identify the cause, and adjust accordingly.
Weighing each day also helps to identify if/when you have hit a plateau. (see your detailed notes) This is very important to catch. Together with your Mentor you can take quick action and get back on track.
When do I measure myself?
Use a flexible tape measure and measure accurately across your body in the regions highlighted in the notes. Always record your measurements in the table provided in the notes.
Measure on the morning of Day 1 Phase 1
Measure again on the morning of Day 1 Phase 2
Measure weekly, first thing in the morning, after the loo, & before eating or drinking.
Measure again on morning of Day 1 Phase 3
Do this weekly until the program is complete.
Why do I have to eat more/LOAD for 2 days in Phase 1? Isn’t the aim to release weight?
The 2 Day- Phase 1 Loading is designed to help you gain 2kgs in preparation for the first week of Phase 2.
This “fresh” loading provides a ready energy resource to support you while the Homeopathic Drops build up in your system and start to release your fat stores as an energy source.
Going from High calorie load in Phase 1 to Low calorie intake on day 1 of Phase 2, also triggers a dramatic release of your fat stores. This sets you up for very encouraging results in your first week, which will totally inspire you to keep going!
Psychologically this means you enter the restricted eating phase having enjoyed all your favorites, feeling satisfied rather than feeling deprived.
Failure to do a good Fat Load, may mean more hunger, low energy and potentially some detox symptoms around day 3-5 of your first week. Plus, you may miss triggering the dramatic loss in your first week.
We recommend you eat every 3 hours or so, and “Load” with Good fats, such as Avocado, Oils, Cheese, Olives, Marinated Veggies, and Proteins, such as Roasts, Nuts, Fried Eggs, Bacon (preferably bio dynamic Sulphate free), etc.
However, for those who typically eat ‘naughty’ foods in day to day life, it is a chance for a last ‘hoorah’ of fattening food, before moving on to the restricted calorie aspect on Day 1 of Phase 2.
I am in my first week of Phase 2 and urinating a lot. Is this normal?
Yes, your body and the powerful Nutritional regime, are going to work to flush out impurities. Your fat cells have given up waiting to be filled with more fat and have released all the water that has been holding the space. Your hydration is probably also up on normal intake, and you are “mono eating” which revs the metabolism as it rests the gut.
Some days I lose up to 800g! Is this normal?
The average daily release is 400g, and yes, some days it will be 800g and some days it will be 100g. The scales are an indication only and give feedback on how your system is releasing.
Weighing every day helps us identify patterns, and responses to foods, as well as to spot plateaus if they occur. The reduction in measurements is typically the wonderful thing about this program. Often the cm lost are truly remarkable and much more of an indication of your success. Your shape and your clothing size will change for the better!
Does Herbal Tea count towards my water total of 2-3 liters?
The primary fluid source is best to be pure filtered water.
Yes, Herbal teas can be included if they are caffeine free.
1 cup of Coffee or normal tea can be taken (black) but an additional 3 glasses of water should follow.
Water and Herbal Teas are best. The aim is to keep the fluids moving through your bowel to assist with detoxification and elimination.
Caffeinated drinks are diuretic, and so they send more fluids out through your bladder.
I am constipated. What should I do?
Remember you will pass less as you are consuming less.
Contact your Mentor and then try the following suggestions.
Increase your water intake 2.5 - 3lt. Consume regularly throughout the day.
2hrs after dinner, have your Probiotic.
If you have Modere Fiber use as directed.
or, take 2 teaspoons of organic Psyllium Husks in 250ml of water 1 hour after dinner. Drink immediately. Follow this with a further glass of water. You can add a squeeze of lemon juice to the Psyllium Husks for improved flavour.
Psyllium Husks in water can be taken in this way other times throughout the day if needed. This mix also helps you feel full, so taking them at night is helpful in this way too.
Consider using an Herbal Detox tea each morning to help keep bowels moving.
Another suggestion is a heaped teaspoon of Bicarb Soda in a glass of slightly warm water and a squeeze of lemon juice. Stay close to home till this has worked.
If constipation is significant, consider Colon Cleanse (Magnesium Oxide) Stay close to home till this has worked.
I seem to have stopped shedding these past days.
Is this a Plateau?
If you see the same weight on the scales 3 mornings in a row, and you have been following the program exactly, then we call that a plateau. Call your mentor.
Q’s they will ask:
Have you been drinking your 2.5-3 litres consistently throughout the day? (i.e.: Not all at once)
Have you over seasoned your foods with salt, or salty condiments? A combined 1tbsp is all that is allowed re fresh herbs/garlic/onions/ seasonings. NO oil
Are there hidden sugars in your condiments/seasonings?
Have you been exposed to chemicals: had your hair coloured / spring cleaned your home with toxic cleaning products / had nail gel or acrylic applied or removed / taken medication / weed sprayed your garden? This type of exposure to chemicals can cause your body to store fat again.
Have you had a massage, or physio treatment, using massage oil, or used Essential Oil based products on your body? eg skin care, makeup, lotions.
Are your bowels eliminating daily? Remember the amount you pass will be less as you are eating less. (see notes re constipation above)
Are your protein portions at lunch and dinner strictly 100g for women and 150g for men?
Have you over exercised? High cardio, and high muscle active exercise can cause fluid to retain in muscles the next day.
Did you skip your Rice Cakes/Grissini? Too little food can have your body assume you are starving, and it will hold onto your fat. All allowed portions must be consumed daily for best results.
Are you sleeping enough? 7+ hrs is important for healthy metabolic function.
Do you have your period? It seems that the body naturally retains fluid both pre and during menstruation. This is normal and not seen as a plateau. Just keep going on the program and the shedding will kick in again.
